    Studio 22k

Studio 22k jewelry is designed and crafted by Dhyan Sherri in her studio on the island of Maui, HI. Dhyan was raised in New York City, and studied at the Parsons School of Design and Jewelry Arts Institute in NYC. After her formal schooling she apprenticed with many Jewelry designers and gold smiths in New York. Before moving to Maui in 1996 Dhyan traveled to Japan and south east Asia for four years.

In 1997 Dhyan opened her own studio on the island of Maui and began making her own jewellery. People are welcome to visit her at ther studio and see her hammer and make her pieces. Dhyan also does many gallery shows on the mainland USA.

All of Dhyan's pieces are made from 22k gold, which has been hardened with other elements, making it stronger and more durable. She uses all natural precious and gem stones from amethyst to rubies. She only uses synthetic stones when requested. All of Dhyan's products are made with the wear and tear of the jewelry in mind. They are left mat finished on purpose so that over time the oils from your skin will polish the gold (never a high polish).
